Australopithecus Creationist Nemesis

It's nice to see the march forward of science while creationists still cry, "There are gaps! There are gaps!" But today's news reports explain, “We just found the chain of evolution, the continuity through time,” study co-author and Ethiopian anthropologist Berhane Asfaw said in a phone interview from Addis Ababa. “One form evolved to another. This is evidence of evolution in one place through time.”

Although we understand that the records are out there somewhere, it's a fantastic discovery to get a better picture of how the evolutionary process moved. A recent discovery of the link between fish and the first amphibians (a story I'm too lazy to look for right now) is equally obvious, but fascinating, none the less.

In the meantime, the impending doom for many species who will evolve no more is depressing. Thanks global warming! At least the Creationists can still have their Armageddon!!

Why shouldn't human kind have evolved from animal kind? There is nothing wrong with that - - hell, it might've been better to stay Neanderthal (sp?) - - at least we'd taken better care of Mother Earth! Interesting articles, Tim. Thanks for more info ... I just don't get why we are so set on ignoring natural resources ... wait, ummmm, greed & laziness? *grin* ~gracie
